our friend Alfredo Stori, with a small  group of
artists, not only poets, but even young musicians,
painters and  students of cinematography of the City’s Atheneum, has decided to found a cultural group ( Poeti ad Alta Voce ) who love poetry and want to bring it among the people accordingly to the slam contests style.

Being totally new in this field of expression we'd
like to receive some ideas and practical suggestions
on how to start a regoularly series of slam and open
mike readings, here in Bologna, our city it would be
the very first time such an event would take place.
Slam poetry is quite unknown in Italy as well, and
poetry itself it's not much popular at all here.
we thank you for all kind of suggestions and help you
could give us - we are building also a site on the

We are still working to prepare our first slam in
Bologna, and right on thursday we'll meet an other
group of poets of our City: "laboratorio di parole" of
the ARCI social cultural centre. On that ocasion we
will analize all the technical aspects of such an
organization.
